Park City Weekend

A couple of weeks ago we took the kids to Park City for a little weekend getaway. We stayed at an awesome condo right on the Park City Mountain Resort.

Friday night we left the kids with pizza and a movie and went to dinner with our friend's the DeRoses to Ghidotti's, a yummy Italian restaurant.

Then we went back to the condo,to swim & play games. We played "Ticket to Ride" for the first time and now our family is hooked!

On Saturday the plan was for half the kids to go snowboarding with Clint while the rest stayed with me. But Alex would rather shop then snowboard and Kenadi decided she wasn't ready to snowboard yet so I took everyone but Abby and Zach shopping at the outlets.
Clint took Zach skiing for the first time. At first it wasn't great because they forgot to get the little piece that holds the front of the skis together and without it Zach was having a hard time. Once they fixed that though, they had a great time. Being that it was Zach's first time Clint was showing him the right time to get off the lift by putting his hand on Zach's back so he would know when to scoot to the edge of the seat. Well one time Zach scooted too early and fell off the lift right before the ramp. That was a little scary, but he was fine and now knows what NOT to do. Abby snowboarded with our friend Colleen and loved it!
We had such a fun time and it was a nice change of scenery.
The kids decided they liked the condo better then our house...say what???
