Good Bye January

January has come and gone so fast!
There was so much going on th
at I just lost track of time.

First, I did the cleanse. It
was hard!
I lost 7 lbs. just to gain 5 back!
Still trying to conquer the sugar monster.
I'm not too discoura
ged though,
I know I'll get there soon
er then later.

I just finished this book.
I LOVED it! I have seen the movie but ha
d never read the book. It is so good! I can't wait to see the new movie coming out. I listened to a lot of the book on the free audio found here. It was superb! The reader had the best English accent.
I highly recommend it.

I have taken two photography classes now
and they have bee
n great.
Can I just say I love my came
ra! It is awesome!

The first class I took was at picturline. They basically just went over all the buttons on the cam
era and explained
what they all do. Very
helpful.
The second class was all day put on by her.
It was great! I learned everything fro
m what
shutter speed to use to photoshop.
We then practiced what we learned with a couple models.

They were very photogenic.

Alex was one of the stars in the school play
"Night at the Wax Museum"
She was a teenager into texting her friends. Clint thought she looked like a real natural. Although she doesn't have a phone of her own, you'd never know it!
The group of teenagers were assigned to summer school and as part of that, had to help at a local wax museum. They encounter all sorts of adventures while there.
It was a fun play and she is becoming quite the little actress.

Mr. Luke is turning into a professional climber.
He saw some ice cream on the counter and
decided to help himself.
Sometimes it's just easier then asking for help. :)
He is also saying lots of words like:
shoes, hungry, more, Abby, night-night.
He's not much of a baby anymore...so sad.

Kenadi at the Mountain Man Rendezvous.
They had a real Mountain Man come
and help them pan for gold,
did leather punching, made candles, had a trading post,
ate mountain man food like
beans and corn bread, practiced hunting, etc.

Abby's DARE graduation. Not the best picture, I know.
Members from Draper city council came along with Miss Utah, and the local police chief. Luke was not at his best and I had to leave early, but what I did see was great.

Overall, January was a great month.
February here we come!

so glad you are enjoying your new toy! the pics look great!

i can see alex being a great actress---she is such a cutie.

bay gets mad at me when i post some pics of her...she thinks she should get the final say before any images of her are posted. abby always looks cute even when it looks as if she's growling.

I love the pics too, I need a camera and I need to take classes :) I will have to go listen to the book, I haven't ever read it and my oldest has told me to many many times, I guess I should just do it.
