I love Summer. No schedules, homework, or deadlines. Just days to do whatever is in the moment. We've spent lazy days at the pool. Stayed up late and slept in late. Had several cousin sleepovers, camped out in the backyard, roasted marshmallows, & watched movies.
Last week we went to the zoo with Grandma and some cousins. They have a dinosaur theme going on right now. It's pretty cool. The dinosaurs are very realistic. They move and make sounds. There were even some raptors that sprayed water from their mouths. The little ones were a little freaked out by that.
We hosted a family BBQ to celebrate birthdays.
I planted a garden but only half of it is growing. :(
(That is, if you don't count the weeds.)
Maybe I planted the seeds too deep?
We've loved having friends over to play-almost daily.
Clint and I ran in a 5k with some good friends.
It was Clint's first. He did great!
Do you see the guy #390, behind Clint?
He was so excited to finish he practically plowed shoved Clint over to cross the finish line.
It was a little crazy.
