My sweet mom just celebrated her 70th birthday!
She is the sweetest, most patient, generous person I know.
Her and my dad have been serving an inner-city mission for the last 4 years.
It usually lasts for 18 months but they have loved the people they serve so much that they keep extending.
She is the mother to 10 children and grandmother to 29 grand children.
She holds 2 big "Grandma Days" a month to spend time with the grand kids. They bake and read together.
She is always there to help out with my kids whenever needed, not to mention all the other grand kids too.
I love her so much! She has taught me so much through her example.
Instead of gifts she requests that all her children that are able attend the temple with her and my dad.
This year all the grandchildren who were 12 and older came with us and did baptisms.
Then we all went to dinner after to celebrate the big 70!
