Alex competed in the Miss Teen Draper again this year. She loves it!
She loves the workshops, the planning, the shopping, just all of it.
She danced to an amazing version of "Titanium" by Madeline Bailey for her talent.
For teens, it's fitness wear instead of swimwear.
She rocked the onstage interview question. They asked her to define inner beauty.
Evening wear- I love the dress she picked out. We just added cap-sleeves to make it modest.

Alex was a little disappointed about not winning but the cute girl that did win is her good friend so she was happy about that.
Thanks to all the friends and family that came to support her. We really thought she was going to win this year. She did awesome at all the evening events. We decided it must have come down to the judges one on one interview. They asked her about John Swallow and unfortunately she had no idea who he was :/ They also said, "Going along with your platform, prevention of prescription drug abuse, what is the best way to stop the Mexican drug cartel?" Say what?

I think that is wonderful how she knows what she loves and goes after it.
Her dress is beautiful and it really sounds like she did a great job!
I love all the YW leader support there...we have great leaders...and of course her awesome family! She is so blessed...with talent, family, friends...Wow!
